Captain Kirk had to teach Charlie a difficult lesson - that we can’t always have everything we want, and that’s a good thing. Sometimes this denial turns us back to what will give us life.
Affirmation: I accept the fact that Life has rules, and that “the way things are” is ultimately for my own good.
